Responsibilities
Exam Scheduling
We ensure that you have enough time to prepare and that you do not take more than one exam per day. If you nevertheless notice any inconsistencies, please feel free to send us an email. We will then review our options and do our best to arrange an alternative date. However, we ask that you observe the following guidelines:
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate issues related to elective courses. Especially in the master’s programs, the number of possible course combinations is so vast that coordinating exam dates without overlap is simply no longer feasible.
Exams can only be rescheduled if they are scheduled for the same semester according to the curriculum. Here, too, accommodating reschedule dates would exceed our organizational capacity.
Exam Collection
Do you need past exams and study guides to prepare for an exam? We have an extensive collection of such documents that are not available in the DDD. You can easily borrow them from the FSR office using your FSR-MB Card. Feel free to stop by the FSR office during our office hours!
Orientation Session (OE)
Are you new to TUHH? We organize a whole range of different events to help you get started with your studies.
Study Weekends
Whether it’s math, MATLAB, or Inventor—we’ll get you ready for your next exam and design project! Just sign up for our study weekends in advance.
Professor Contact
Having an issue with a professor, teaching assistant, or tutor? We can help you resolve conflicts and clear up misunderstandings.
Course Content, Structure, and Organization
Is a group exercise being shortened or a midterm canceled? We’ll make sure your interests in matters of content, structure, and organization aren’t overlooked and that financial resources are used appropriately.
Company Connections
Are you looking for an internship or want to know what career opportunities are available to you as a future engineer? We regularly organize field trips and company networking evenings that provide you with interesting insights and allow you to make valuable connections. A company contact list available at our FSR office also supports you in your search for a suitable internship.
Events
Of course, we can’t forget about having fun! Whether it’s barbecues, St. Nicholas celebrations, or informational events—we look forward to seeing you!
Merchandise
Would you like one of these stylish MB sweaters in the new design? We have a wide selection of sweaters, T-shirts, and many other merchandise items in our new MB design, which we’d be happy to order for you.
Legal Support
Did you forget to register for an exam, have to take a test under difficult conditions, or are you having trouble getting your exam results recognized? We’re here to help with any legal questions you may have and can offer advice on how to proceed and who to contact.
Whenever you have questions or problems, or want to share praise or suggestions, we, as your Student Council, are here for you and always ready to listen. Just send us an email, give us a call, or stop by our office in person!
